Madeline signed her name at the end of the letter and smiled at the message. Before she sealed the envelope, she sprayed a bit of her favorite perfume–which he had bought her–on the paper. She closed it and addressed it to him, but there was still something missing. Madeline stared at it for a while.

Suddenly, an idea struck her. She searched through her make-up kit for the darkest, reddest lipstick she owned. She put it on and sealed it with a long kiss. He wouldn’t be able to resist that…or the invitation within the envelope itself…
